The correlation of the available energy potential of biomass , with tons of oil equivalent is a measure, comparing the two sources of energy, making it possible to estimate the energy and economic benefits from the use of biomass . Each integrated strategic planning of energy utilization of biomass, should take into account both the comparative advantages and disadvantages of biomass over fossil fuels ( oil, coal , natural gas).
Energy savings Per year, from our company's installed projects, is shown on table 1.
The amount of saved energy from all of our executed projects is significant, as 235.000 tons of equivalent oil is substituted every year. This results to the reduction of the impact of oil consumption to the environment and offers economic and operational benefits to the agricultural industries that have invested to the energy utilization of their available biomass.
